Bolashak scholarship awarded to 254 candidates

ASTANA. September 17. KAZINFORM. /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Kazakhstan Republican Commission for Training Specialists Abroad has held a sitting under the chairmanship of Secretary of State - Minister of Foreign Affairs Kanat Saudabayev in Astana today.

According to Vice Minister of Education and Scince Kulyash Shamshidinova, the Commission considered 300 applications of the candidates for Bolashak scholarship. 254 candidates were awarded the scholarship. The major part of students applied for education in the UK (158 people). The rest part selected the USA (38), Switzerland (15), Russia (10) and other countries.

"The work on consideration and selection of applications still continues", the Vice Minister informed.
