emzhanov Akhmet Korganbekuly (1871-1927) was a public figure, member of Alashordy Government, lawyer, descendant of Shakshak Zhanibek. He was born in Nr. 1 village of Tossyn volost, Torgay uezd of Turgay region (now Kostanay region).

He was graduated from Orenburg male gymnasium with a silver medal and law department of Kazan University with a gold medal. Since 1899 he worked in Orenburg, Troitsk, Aktobe, Torgay and Buzuluk district courts.

In 1906-1907 he was elected as a deputy to the 1 and 2 State Dumas in Russia. There he was a deputy chairman of Muslim fraction where he protected interests of his nation. In 1906 being the member of the Muslim fraction he participated in development and preparation to the agrarian draft law. Since spring of 1917 he was a commissar of Temporary Government of Kostanay uezd. In 1917 he became a delegate of the 1st Torgay Kazakh Regional Congress in Orenburg city.

The same period he was a delegate of Aktyubinsk Kazakh Congress and 1st All Kazakh Congress in Orenburg. He was elected to the National Council of Alashorda at the 2nd All Kazakh Congress. The same time he was a minister of justice in Alashorda Government. In 1918-1920 he took part in Ufa session of Alashorda Government and was a law adviser in Semipalatinsk. In 1920-1926 he was an adviser, member of the Board of the Supreme Court, manager of the People's Committee of Justice of the Kazakh SSR in Orenburg and Kyzylorda cities.

Akhmet Beremzhanov died in 1927 in Leningrad city (now St. Petersburg) and was buried at the grave of Volkov.
