Belgian parliamentarian supports decision on early elections in Kazakhstan

BRUSSELS. February 9. KAZINFORM /Dimash Syzdykov/ President of the House of Representatives of Belgian Federal Parliament Andre Flahaut expressed his support for the decision of the Kazakh President to reject the referendum and hold early presidential elections at the meeting with Kazakh Ambassador to Belgium and Luxemburg, Head of Missions to the European Union and NATO Yerik Utembayev, the press service of the Kazakh Embassy reported.

The Belgian parliamentarian was briefed on the main provisions of the recent President's Address to the Nation. Andre Flahaut has noted that the decision to reject the referendum and hold early elections meets the people's will and demonstrates the country's commitment to democratic principles and compliance with international obligations.
