MOSCOW. April 13. KAZINFORM (BelTA) - The aggregate trade turnover of Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Russia has stepped up by one-third, Executive Secretary of the Customs Union Commission Sergei Glazyev told reporters.

"We have been witnessing a 30% increase in the aggregate foreign trade of the Customs Union member states since the single customs territory became effective," he said.

In his words, the revenues from import duties have increased by about one-third both in Belarus and Russia, while in Kazakhstan the revenues have more than tripled.

Sergei Glazyev added that the trade within the Customs Union and in neighboring regions has skyrocketed. The mutual food supplies have swollen up. Sergei Glazyev believes it became possible after the introduction of the single sanitary and phitosanitary control system, Kazinform refers to Belta.
