Beijing marks Day of Kazakhstan's Independence

BEIJING. December 16. KAZINFORM A solemn reception to commemorate the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan took place in Beijing.

The official reception organized by the Embassy of Kazakhstan to China brought together reps of business, scientific and social circles and mass media, diplomatic corps accredited in China, Kazakh diaspora and citizens of Kazakhstan working in Beijing.

In his speech Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to the People's Republic of China Nurlan Yermekbayev thanked the guests for their participation in the reception dated to the 21^st anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence. "This is indeed a remarkable day for our country and I am excited to see you all here today," the Kazakh diplomat noted.
