«Baiterek» Board members elected

ASTANA. July 23. KAZINFORM — Today, in Ukimet Uiy, under the chairmanship of Serik Akhmetov, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, the first meeting of executive-board directors of "National Holding" Baiterek" JSC has taken place, according to the primeminister.kz web-site.

As per the agenda, several issues were discussed, in particular, the election of members of the Holding's Board, the appointment of the Corporate Secretary, the approval of budget and staff size for 2013. The meeting has also approved the list of documents governing internal operations of the holding.

''Baiterek'' directorship includes Bakytzhan Sagintayev, First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Regional Development; Kairat Kelimbetov, Deputy Prime Minister and Asset Issekeshev, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Industry and New Technologies.

Bakhit Sultanov, deputy head of the Presidential Administration; Erbolat Dosayev, Minister of Economy and Budget Planning; Bolat Zhamishev, Minister of Finance and Kuandyk Bishimbayev, chairman of the Board also enter the office of directors.

NOTE: "National Holding" Baiterek" JSC was established in accordance with the Presidential Decree from May 22, 2013. The purpose of the holding company establishment is to promote development and diversification of economy, attracting investment, enhancement of clusters and improvement of corporate governance in its subsidiaries.

The company's asset management includes state-owned financial institutions such as "Development Bank of Kazakhstan" JSC , ''Damu'' Enterpreneurship Fund, ''Investment Fund of Kazakhstan" JSC, "Kazyna Capital Management" JSC, "Kazakhstan Mortgage Company " JSC, etc.
