Baikonyr starts gasification works

BAIKONYR. KAZINFORM Construction of a gas pipeline running from the Beineu-Bozoi-Shymkent trunk line to the automated gas distribution station has started there, the press service of the Kyzyorda region's akimat said.

The pipeline construction is part of the KazTransGas KZT 23 bln investment project on gasification of five rural settlements of the region. It is planned to build five automated gas distribution stations and intra-city gas transmission pipelines to supply 190,000-strong population with gas.
