ALMATY. KAZINFORM "Kazakhstan and Austria are ready to work close together in Kazakhstan's global projects, including EXPO 2017 and Winter Universiade 2017 in Almaty," secretary general of the Austrian-Kazakh Society Thomas Wanker told Kazinform Agency.

"Our countries could work together in the field of energy saving technologies, engineering industry, oil and gas sector. We also can propose Kazakhstan projects in the sphere of tourism starting from the concept to their realization. It means we develop a business plan, attract companies and fulfill the project. As Kazakhstan realizes such global projects as Expo 2017 and Universiade 2017 in Almaty it is crucial to develop tourism and Austria has good experience in the tourist industry," he said. Besides, Austria is keen to foster cooperation with all regions of Kazakhstan and to share its practice of complex development of regions. According to him, it is necessary to pay attention to training skilled professionals to make guests feel at home. "Austria is a home to traditional family-run hotels, that's why people have heart in their work. I see hospitality, good attitude and culture in Kazakhstan. But, I think, it is essential to add some skills and experience that Austria can propose," he resumed.
