Austria invested €2 billion in Kazakhstan economy

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Austria has invested €2 billion in Kazakhstan economy, said Meyram Pshembayev, chairman of the Kazakh-Austrian Business Council.

"Austrian companies are interested in cooperation with Kazakhstan. The country has created favorable conditions for business," said Meyram Pshembayev during the Kazakh-Austrian Business Council. According to his words, Austria is a powerhouse of industrial and innovative development in Europe. Mechanical engineering and oil and gas industry are highly developed areas of the country's economy. In addition, Austria intensely elaborates pharmaceuticals, production of power equipment, and agro-processing.
