ASTANA. September 1.  KAZINFORM It seems like Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, will be the home of a new feminist protest group.

Astana's topless protesters follow the likes of Ukraine's Femen protest group, according to Express K newspaper.

Four students of one of the Astana universities inspired by Kiev's 'colleagues' decided to push their agenda on global issues by all means available. The topless activists do it at rock music concerts and night clubs.

"Femen is often criticized for turning their campaigns into striptease," says Raushan, future interpreter. "For us baring it all in public is a minor point. We are trying to work on the dramaturgy of our campaigns, but we are not ashamed to show what's under our clothes. The most important thing is to attract public attention and get out the message".

The girls relate to the whole thing with a touch of self-irony.
