ASTANA. July 12. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The Astana Declaration adopted at the OSCE Summit in Astana in December is an important document, and Lithuania as the Organization's chair country strives to continue Kazakhstan's course.

Lithuanian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Kazakhstan Rokas Bernotas has said during a meeting of Kazakh Majilis deputy, member of the Committee for Foreign Affairs, Defense and Security Kabibulla Dzhakupov with a business mission arrived from Lithuania.

The fact that 100 firms with the Lithuanian capital operate in the country was highlighted.

Kabibulla Dzhakupov noted that the Customs Union of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan as well as "Western Europe-Western China" Transport Corridor opens good prospects for deepening the Kazakh-Lithuanian relations.

"We are interested in logistic projects of Kazakhstan with China through Lithuania," head of the Lithuanian delegation Benediktas Petrauskas said.
