Astana awards journalists fostering Kazakh language
ASTANA. June 24. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ The Language Committee of the Kazakh Couture Ministry has made public today the results of the republican contest "State language and media". 13 journalists who contributed to promotion of the official language were awarded in Astana.
The contest is a great opportunity to find out wordsmiths who contribute greatly to spreading language culture and promulgation of the Kazakh language. The 5th contest coincides this year with the 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence.
