Anti-corruption activity to be continued: Head of State

ASTANA. January 28. KAZINFORM /Murat Zhakeyev/ Kazakhstan will improve its position in the global anti-corruption ranking. Today we top the CIS state in this ranking", the President of Kazakhstan said in his annual Stat-of-the-nation Address.

"Our country has improved its position by 45 points in the annual anti-corruption ranking of "International Transportation" Fund in three years. We top the CIS countries in the ranking. This work will be further continued", the President said.

"Over 40 top officials of the country as well as over 250 regional and municipal authorities, including 39 akims and deputy akims were put on trial", the President said.
