ASTANA. January 31. KAZINFORM Kazakh Ambassador to Japan Akylbek Kamaldinov met in Tokyo with the members of the Japanese parliamentary friendship league with Kazakhstan led by league chairman, ex-PM of Japan Yukio Hatoyama to brief on the key positions of the Kazakh President's Address " Socio-Economic Modernization as Main Vector of Development of Kazakhstan", the Kazakh MFA said.

The Kazakh diplomat told about the country's socio-economic achievements, international initiatives of the Head of State, economic and political reforms, and Kazakhstan's commitments to the principles of the democratic development in the light of the recent parliamentary elections held on January 15.

As the Head of State delivering his Address drew attention to providing conditions for further economic development and the country's modernization through implementation of large infrastructure projects, the Ambassador called Japan to actively take part in realization of Kazakhstan's investment projects, as well as the State Forced Industrial and Innovation Development Programme.

Upon completion of the meeting the parties agreed to support the high-level political dialogue achieved to further development of investment and trade-economic mutual benefit cooperation. of the two countries.
