Almaty to host 3rd Congress of Kazakh Surgeons

ALMATY. April 3. KAZINFORM More than 40 specialists of Europe, Japan, Korea, Israel, Turkey and Russia will participate in the 3rd Congress of Kazakhstan Surgeons on April 23-27 in Almaty.

The Congress organizer is  A. N. Syzganov National Scientific Surgery Center.

Development of "Salamatty Kazakhstan" state program for 2011-2015 will be discussed at the Congress. The aim of this program is improving Kazakh people's health for the country's social demographic development by reducing the overall morality rate, life expectancy and decrease of people's invalidism.    

In Kazakhstan the highest mortality rate is of cardiovascular diseases - 403.9 per 100 thousands of people, then malignant neoplasms - 109.8 and then injuries, poisonings and accidents - 108.7.
