Almaty residents to celebrate Nauryz in Central Park

ALMATY. KAZINFORM - This year Almaty residents will celebrate Nauryz spring festival in the Central Park of Culture and Leisure, according to the city Department of Culture.

Festive events will start at 10 a.m. The celebrations will include concerts, horse shows, contests, trivia games, sport competitions, tree planting and holiday food fairs. According to the organizers, guests will enjoy spectacular shows of the Almaty Zoo, State Circus and a mini-concert of folklore-ethnographic ensemble "Sazgen saz". At 7 p.m. Spartak stadium will host a recital of hip-hop group "ORDA". At 9 p.m. residents and guests of Almaty city will enjoy fireworks show on Kok-Tobe mountain.
