Almaty paid last tribute to Roza Baglanova

ALMATY. February 10. KAZINFORM /Yekaterina Ionova/ Today Almaty city paid last respects to well-known singer, People's Artist of USSR and Kazakhstan, Halyk Kaharmany (People's Hero) Roza Baglanova.

Friends and family, workers of culture and art, representatives of the Almaty city administration and admirers of her talent have come to bid farewell to Roza Baglanova.

Minister of Culture of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Kul-Muhammed offered his condolences to the family members of Roza Baglanova and read the telegram sent by President Nursultan Nazarbayev. "Roza Baglanova earned respect and love of the people thanks to her outstanding talent, brilliant artistic mastery. When singing, Roza Baglanova made admiring listeners brighten up. Rich heritage of Roza Baglanova will remain forever in memory of our people", the telegram reads.
