Almaty int'l conference to moot nuclear power plants projects

ASTANA. September 14. KAZINFORMThe 8th International Conference "Nuclear and Radiation Physics," dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan's Independence, will be held on September 20-23 in Almaty, the Institute of Nuclear Physics of the National Nuclear Centre announced.

Current projects on nuclear power plants will be the main topic of discussion. Besides, nuclear energy, nuclear physics, radiation ecology, nuclear and radiation techniques in medicine and industry, nuclear non-proliferation, and educational technology and training will be introduced for debate, the Kazakh MFA's press service said.
