Almaty hurricane tears off exterior cladding of mosque dome

ALMATY. KAZINFORM A violent wind has damaged the mosque dome in Almaty, the emergency situations committee reports.

15 m/s wind gusts tore off exterior cladding of the Baiken mosque dome in Almaty at 2:40 p.m. No victims were reported.

It ripped off reportedly 10 square meters of external cladding.
