AKTAY MAUSOLEUM

ay Mausoleum is an architectural monument of XIX century. It is located at the lower course of Sarysu River near Telikol at the 40 km of Zhezkazgan-Kyzylorda highway.

Aktay Mausoleum was built in 1928. It consists of two domed rooms which are connected with each other. The large room of burial vault is constructed in the form of two belts. The doom is set at the wood cymbal.

The front face of the mausoleum was made of burnt brick with a diamond-shaped setting. There is a staircase leading to the roof and burial vault of the mausoleum.
