Akmola region to open 3 schools, 4 kindergartens this year

KOKSHETAU. January 14. KAZINFORM. /Zhanmurat Zhanaidarov/ 3 schools and 4 kindergartens for 1,340 and 1,280 places respectively will be opened in Akmola region this year.

Last year the region put into service 6 schools for 3,000 places, 3 kindergartens for 400 places and 70 mini-centers for 1,800 places. The Intellectual School of the First President of Kazakhstan in Kokshetau and a school for 1,200 places in Shortandy village were put into operation within the state program "100 schools, 100 hospitals".

The index of preschool education increased from 37% to 41%.
