Air Astana plans new int'l routes Aktau-Istanbul-Aktau and Aktau-Amsterdam-Aktau

ASTANA. February 9. KAZINFORM. Tourism, Physical Culture and Sport Department of Mangystau region and Air Astana signed a memo of cooperation in tourist development, the department's press service informs.

The memo is purposed to heighten the interest in the region and develop inbound tourism. The Tengri board magazine and official website of the air carrier will offer the readers information about the region's tourist potential and Kenderli resort development. It is also planned to position the region as an attractive tourist site at the international exhibitions and meetings.

The national air carrier plans to introduce new international flights Aktau-Istanbul-Aktau and Aktau-Amsterdam-Aktau. It intends to participate in organization of joint information tours around the region for the foreign and Kazakh mass media and tour operators.
