as Darasy archeological complex is located in Ulytau municipality in Karaganda region at the 180 km to the north-west from Zhezkazgan city. The complex is situated in the Valley of Aibas River surrounded by Ulytau chain of mountains from the north-east and Yeduge chain of mountains from south.

The complex consists of diachronous monuments: Neolithic encampment, burial and settlement of bronze epoch as well as burial mounds of early Iron Age, Middle Age and later-medieval city.

The burial was discovered by the Central Kazakhstan Archeological Expedition in 1946 and partially was studied by A. Kh. Margulan in 1972.

The research works in the settlement of ancient metallurgists of Bronze Epoch at Aibas-Darasy Burrial in Ulutay municipality were continued in 2004 under the "Cultural Heritage" Program of the Central Kazakhstan Archeological Expedition.

The most interesting monument of the complex is Aibas Darasy Burial Mound, a stone sub-squared construction. The length of its external walls is about 11.5 - 11.8 meters. There is a stone box made of granite slabs. According to A. Kh. Margulan the burial mound is related to Begazy-Dandybai culture and dated from the Late Bronze.
