8, 000 evacuated from flood affected areas in W Kazakhstan

ASTANA. April 15. KAZINFORM West Kazakhstan authorities continue the flood liquidation operations.
Today the local emergencies department employees flew over Krutaya gully in the area of Pavlovo and Gorbunovo villages for assessment of the situation.
The Commission on emergency situations held today a sitting in order to assess the damage caused by the floods.
Besides, Minister of Emergencies Vladimir Bozhko and Governor of the region Baktykozha Izmukhambetov held a conference to discuss the issues of liquidating the flood consequences.
Currently, the number of people evacuated from the dangerous areas makes more than 8, 000, the press service of the Emergencies Ministry informs.
