70% of Kazakhstan companies are ‘non-union’

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - In Kazakhstan 70% of companies do not have trade unions, this has been informed today by the president of Trade Unions Federation Abelgazy Kusainov.

He recalled that in many companies an employer chooses a union representative from employees. At present there are almost 170,000 enterprises in Kazakhstan which major part relates to small and medium-sized businesses.
