7 809 arrived, 6 013 left Almaty for 1st Q of 2012

ALMATY. May 11. KAZINFORM 7 809 people from the countrywide, CIS and non-CIS countries arrived in Almaty over January - March 2012. 6 013 people left, the Almaty city statistics department said.  

The arrivals dropped by 2.4 times as compared to the same period of 2011, the number of those leaving increased by 4.9%. Balance of migration made 1 796 people.
