TOKYO. May 20. KAZINFORM An earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale jolted near the east coast of Honshu, Japan at 00:46:16 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

According to Xinhua, the epicenter, with a depth of 26.20 km, was initially determined to be at 35.7357 degrees north latitude and 140.9814 degrees east longitude.
