5, including 3 teens drowned in Kazakhstan waters

ASTANA. July 18. KAZINFORM 5 people, including 3 teens drowned in the waters of Kazakhstan over the past 24 hours, the press service of the Kazakh Emergencies Ministry said.

An 18-year-old youth drowned while swimming in the Zhem River in Atyrau region. The locals pulled his body from the water.

Two teens aged 15 and 17 drowned in the River Torgai in Kostanay region. A man, 26, drowned while swimming in the artificial reservoir in West Kazakhstan.

A 63-year-old man drowned late at night in the Krasnyi Yar River. The search for his body started today at 9pm.
