3.7M quake rocks near Almaty

ALMATY. KAZINFORM 3.7M earthquake has rocked near Almaty city on September 2, Kazinform reports.

According to the Seismological Stations Network, the quake occurred at 03:06:17pm. Its epicenter was 5km from the city of Almaty at a depth of 15km. Its energy class made 8.5 and MPV magnitude was 3.7. The coordinates of the epicenter are 43.17° north latitude and 76.95° east longitude.

The magnitude 2-3 tremors were felt in the city.
