193 children left without parental support in N Kazakhstan since Jan

PETROPAVLOVSK. KAZINFORM "193 children have been left without parental support in North Kazakhstan since the beginning of the year," Galiya Iliyasova, the regional education department representative, said.

"Since January this year 81 of them were placed in care, 15 in foster care, four were adopted and the rest were sent to the children's homes. There are 94 kids are provided with care, 168 live with foster parents and 577 stay in orphanages in the region so far," she added.
