ASTANA. KAZINFORM A sitting of the Military Committee of the CSTO member states took place in Yekaterinburg, the Kazakh Defence Ministry's press service said.

As stated there, 44 universities of the CSTO states offer military cadres training. 130 military from Armenia, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan receive education in Kazakhstan. The CSTO Military Committee debated challenges and threats to military security in the regions of collective security, establishing a joint system of air and missile defense of the CSTO and organizing management of the collective forces of the bloc.

The CSTO, established in 1992, is comprised of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan.
