ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Vice-Minister of Health and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Svetlana Zhakypova has visited Atbasar town, Akmola region.

Zhakypova explained the main provisions of the President's Address "Kazakhstan's way-2050: common goal, common interests, common future".

Vice-Minister of Health and Development visited the central district hospital and inter-district TB dispensary, where she put emphasis on the promotion of healthy lifestyle, increasing life expectancy and reducing maternal and infant mortality.

In her speech, Vice Minister highlighted the priorities of the President's Address to the people of Kazakhstan and the new tasks assigned to the state. The meeting also discussed the implementation of the state program "Employment Roadmap -2020".

"There are 626 000 disabled people in Kazakhstan and we must create the conditions for their employment. It should be noted that moving towards these goals today, thanks to the employment program, there have been employed 12,000 people with disabilities. More than 6,000 jobs were created for them. In addition, to protect disabled people's constitutional rights, the Ministry has developed a draft law on amendments and additions to some legislative acts," noted S. Zhakypova.
