100 saiga antelopes mysteriously die off in Kostanay rgn

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - May 11 employees of Kostanay regional territorial inspection of forestry and wildlife under the Ministry of Agriculture found about 100 dead saiga antelopes in an area called Zholaba, Amangeldy district of Kostanay region.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture the exact number of dead animals and the reasons for the mortality are being established. Regional administration office, Emergency Situation Department, Environmental prosecutor's office, Internal Affairs Department, and Veterinary service have been alerted about the incident.
