1, 787 residents of flood affected W Kazakhstan returned home - Emergencies Ministry

ASTANA. April 18. KAZINFORM 1, 787 people including 935 residents of Uralsk city, 540 of Taskaly, 301 of Zelenovzky and 11 of Terekti municipalities have returned home, the press service of the Kazakh Emergencies informs.

The residents of Uralsk are actively involved in charity work. The regional headquarters has already received over 7 tons of warm clothes and shoes, 2.5 tons of foods and about 2 tons of personal hygiene products and detergents.

The volunteers of the youth wing of Nur Otan Party are also engaged in humanitarian assistance.

300 volunteers from the youth organizations are involved in distribution of charitable aid to the victims of the floods.

According to the regional akimat, KZT 2, 744, 409 has been accumulated at the special charity account opened for the flood victims.

The region's authorities received also beds, mattresses, pillows and bed linen fromthe government's reserve for liquidation of the consequences of floods and rendering aid to the population.
