Above 30% of financial services volume in Kazakhstan should not belong to foreign banks, President

ASTANA. June 22. KAZINFORM "Above 30% of volume of financial services in Kazakhstan should not belong to foreign banks," President Nursultan Nazarbayev told the entrepreneurship development meeting at Akorda.

"The Government and the National Bank should take into consideration that the foreign banks which enjoy more favorable competitive advantages. Let them work but work under equal conditions. Above 30% of volume of financial facilities in Kazakhstan should not belong to foreign banks. It is an obligatory procedure," the President said.
