ALMATY. September 10. KAZINFORM /Yelena Ilyinskaya/ "During the joint training before the Peace Mission-2010 anti-terror exercise we saw that the Kazakh side was well prepared for holding such a large-scale event", Chief of General Staff of Chinese People's Liberation Army, General Chen Bingde has said today in Almaty.

According to him, the Chinese troops in the drills represent a third of all the military involved. He noted that the exercise gave an opportunity to work jointly for ensuring stability and security in the region.

As deputy defense minister of Kyrgyzstan Taalaybek Omuraliyev said, the SCO is one of the priority directions on ensuring security for the Kyrgyz side. Thus, despite the political situation in the country, the Kyrgyz side is ready to take part in the event and contribute to the provision of stability in Central Asian region.
