ASTANA. September 9. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ Pakistan highly appraises Kazakhstan's role in regional security maintenance.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Kazakhstan Mohammad Akhtar Tufail has announced it at the ceremony of presenting credentials to President Nursultan Nazarbayev.

"Pakistan highly appraises Kazakhstan's role in maintenance and development of regional security. We are confident that the upcoming OSCE Summit will have great success", the Ambassador emphasized in an interview to journalists.

According to him, bilateral relations have not yet exhausted its potential. "We are looking for cooperation with Kazakhstan in industrial sector, energy and infrastructure development", the Ambassador noted.

He expressed gratitude to Kazakhstan's leadership and nation for assistance rendered to the Pakistani people affected by the devastating floods.
