ASTANA. September 4. KAZINFORM  Kazakh Prime Minister Karim Massimov has held regular sitting of the Council of Economic Advisers today in Ukimet Uiy, the press service of the Head of the Government informs.

Doctor of economic sciences Arystan Esentugelov presented a report on 'The strategy for modernization of Kazakhstan's economy in post crisis period'. The report included the assessment of the current status of the economy and recommendations on measures to take for increasing the level of its competitiveness.

The Council was established in November of 2008 by the initiative of Kazakh Premier in order to hold consultations with leading Kazakh experts on relevant socio-economic issues.
