Annual growth of gross agricultural output in nearest four years to make 4.3% - Ministry of Economic Development and Trade
ASTANA.  August 31. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/  The annual growth of gross agricultural output in 2011-2015 in Kazakhstan will make 4.3% and will reach 4.8% by 2015. Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zhanar Aitzhanova announced it presenting the draft Forecast of the country's socio-economic development for 2011-2015 at the Government's sitting today.

She noted that the forecasted price for plant production as well as the real growth of plant production in 2011 by 4%, in 2012 - by 5% and in 2013- by 6% will help increase gross agricultural output.

"Thus, in accordance with the international organizations' forecasts the world price for barley in medium-term outlook will rise by 3.4% and the price for rise will grow by 1%. This will also positively impact growth of  export potential", Z. Aitzhanova added.
