KAZINFORM /Murat Zhakeyev/ About USD 35 bln will be spent for upgrading the assets of Kazakhstan Temir Zholy National Company JSC by 2020. President of the Company Askar Mamin announced it at the Summit of the Heads of SamrukKazyna National Welfare Fund group in Astana today. According to him, this money will be directed on development of infrastructure, increasing the length of the railroad with high-speed passenger traffic, and on implementation of innovations in organization of transportation etc. "The main goal of the Company's innovative-technological development is establishment of an up-to-date high-technological rail transport system capable to ensure the demands of economy and population. For achievement of this goal we have developed a package of measures. The volume of investments in assets upgrade in nearest 10 years will make about USD 35 bln", he said. Comments (0)
