ASTANA. August 27. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ "All achievements of Kazakhstan in 15 years are certain result of functioning of the Constitution and the legislation based on it", President N.Nazarbayev said at the conference devoted to the 15^th anniversary of the Kazakh Constitution on Friday.

"In 1995 the country adopted its Main Law that passed through in-depth discussion - its Constitution. The Constitution that became a charter of creativity turned into a source of all our achievements. As a result of strict compliance with the principles of our Constitution we established our firm statehood, strengthened our independence in a short period of time", N.Nazarbayev said.

The Head of State emphasized that the Constitution defined the people of Kazakhstan as the only source of power and due to it the country entered a new epoch.
