Urgent to start developing Universal Declaration of Nuclear-Free World today: N.Nazarbayev
ASTANA. August 26. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ President Nursultan Nazarbayev considers necessary to start developing Universal Declaration of Nuclear-Free World.

"Today it is important to start developing the Universal Declaration of Nuclear-Free World outlining determination of all states to follow the ideals of the nuclear-free world", Kazakh Secretary of State - Foreign Minister Kanat Saudabayev cites the address of the Kazakh President to participants of the international conference dedicated to the International Day against Nuclear Tests on Thursday.

"On the eve of the International Day against Nuclear Tests, for the first time celebrated by the world community, we reckon on extension of the international cooperation aimed at establishment of a world free of nuclear threat", the address writes.

The Head of the State expressed hope that the conference will contribute to the issue of non-proliferation and reduction of nuclear weapons.

"Only together we can make our world better and safer", N.Nazarbayev stated.
