KOSTANAY REGION. August 25. KAZINFORM /Petr Plakhotnikov/ Kazakh President N.Nazarbayev has visited Mendykarinskiy district during his working trip to Kostanay region today.

The Head of the State surveyed the fields of "Raskul" agricultural enterprise. The harvest here is expected to be at the level of 16-17 centners per hectare this year despite the bad weather conditions. Head of the enterprise Rafail Faizulin said that the farm used modern technology of grain production.

N.Nazarbayev noted that the main lesson of the year that all agrarians must learn was introduction of modern technologies and new equipment. "The example of Kostanay farmers proves that it is possible to get a good harvest despite bad weather conditions", the President said.
