KOSTANAY.  August 24. KAZINFORM /Pyotr Plakhotnikov/ Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev has started his working visit to Kostanay oblast today.

Upon arrival the President headed to the Kostanay Mill Works  where he surveyed new production unit on manufacturing short cut pasta. This unit is one of the largest investment projects meeting all modern requirements and international criteria of quality. The works will produce up to 2.5 thousand tones of pasta per month. The products will be supplied both to domestic market and the CIS countries and Georgia.

After then N. Nazarbayev went to Mendykara district to meet with the local farmers.
