ASTANA.  August 24. KAZINFORM  Upon completion of the working trip around the North Kazakhstan oblast today President Nursultan Nazarbayev has surveyed the farming lands of Bazis-Kyzylzhar LLC and met with the region's farmers.

As the Presidential press service informs, the meeting focused on the harvesting campaign and the prospects of development of the region's agro-industrial sector. As N. Nazarbayev noted, in the first half of 2010 agricultural output in Kazakhstan grew by 2% against the same period in 2009. "The farmers of the North Kazakhstan oblast greatly contributed to it", the President said.
