Competition on music and lyrics for Aziada anthem announced
ALMATY. August 24. KAZINFORM /Yelena Ilinskaya/ JSC Executive Directorate of the Organizing Committee of the 7th Winter Asian Games of 2011 announced a competition on lyrics and music for the Aziada anthem, Vice President of the Directorate Yevgeny Nikitinsky has made it public today in Almaty.

According to him the anthem has to show peaceful atmosphere the Games bring and show consolidating potential of the Aziada. It is called to be emotional background for sportsmen throughout the Games. 'It is more preferable that the anthem would be reflecting the idea of the Asian Games particularly and Kazakhstan's sport as well. We would also like the anthem to reflect ethnic colors to be different from other anthems. We believe that our creative youth is able to give a great variety to choose from and we will have the best anthem and have highest ratings. We ask you to take part in the competition actively', Y. Nikitinsky said.

According to composers Rinat Abdulkhalikov and Yerkesh Shakeyev the authors of the anthem will live forever in history of Kazakhstan and world sports which is an honor.
