18 August 2010, 20:12 Kazakh women soldiers to take part in military parade in Astana for first time ASTANA. August 18. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan will mark the 15th anniversary of the Constitution in two weeks. To celebrate this event a parade will be held at the main square of the country near "Kazakh Eli" monument in Astana on August 30, the press service of the Kazakh Defense Ministry reports. Units of the Ground Forces, Air Forces and Navy Forces of Kazakhstan as well as subdivisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, National Security Committee, Ministry of Emergencies and Republican Guard - totally over 2200 officers, servicemen under contract, cadets of military schools and conscript soldiers will take part in the parade. "Dignified military men of the Kazakh Army were selected to form the parade squads. They train every day and our citizens will be able to see the results of the trainings on August 30", Parade Commander, Commander in Chief of Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan major-general Murat Maikeyev said. Women soldiers will take part in the parade for the first time as well. M.Maikeyev noted that women soldiers marched excellently. "We will demonstrate our equipped soldiers, modernized weapons, new systems of artillery fire, teamwork of the troops", he said. Comments (0)
