Kazakhstan to have good harvest this year - President
  ASTANA. August 5. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Kazakhstan expects to have good harvest this year, Nursultan Nazarbayev said it on Thursday while visiting JSC Akmola-Phoenix located in Akmol village of Tselinograd district in Akmola region.

'The situation is quite difficult this year with the weather which affects the crop. West Kazakhstan and Aktobe regions suffer from unfavorable weather conditions the most', the President said.

Nevertheless, the President noted that northern and southern regions of Kazakhstan, Akmola and Kostanay regions expect to have good harvest.

'In whole we hope on this year's harvest and we have last year's grain left. Kazakhstan will even have export potential', N. Nazarbayev noted.

The President emphasized that the state maintained the agricultural producers this year regarding fuel supplies, products sales and fertilizer subsidies.

'KZT 96 bln was allocated to the agriculture of the country this year. This is great help that agriculture needs and we are ready to render it for the development of the sector', the Head of the state added.
