Beijing held press conference on CU activity
 BEIJING.  July 27. KAZINFORM  /Ruslan Suleimenov/ Establishment of the Customs Union is a milestone event for Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia since the 180 mln people market changes the investment climate of three countries and provides new opportunities. This was stated today by the participants of a press conference in Beijing regarding the activity of the Customs union.

According to Konstantin Toporkov, a representative of the Russian Federal Customs Service in China, all three countries are carrying out huge work on bringing the national legislations on customs regulation into compliance with the CU Customs Code.

Speaking on the prospects of the Customs Union-China cooperation, the CU will, undoubtedly, expand trade with China and business interaction, he said.

In turn, his Belarusian counterpart Valeri Matsel informed that CU creation became a milestone event in integration processes on the CIS space which aims at improving well-being of our nations.

"Its major advantage is economic cooperation. Kazakhstani enterprises can join this process and become a part of technological chain and sell its products at the European markets", Timur Malikov, a representative of the Kazakhstan Embassy in China, resumed.
