14% of GDP spent for anti-crisis measures – National Bank Vice Chairman D. Akishev
ALMATY. July 12. KAZINFORM /Daniyar Sihibayev/ Kazakhstan's expenditures connected with implementation of the anti-crisis measures made USD 19 bln which corresponded to 14 percent of the GDP. Deputy Chairman of the National Bank Daniyar Akishev made it public during the online conference at the forum of profinance.kz portal in Almaty today.

'The funds were allocated to support agriculture, small and medium businesses, agro-industry and realization of innovative, industrial and infrastructure projects', D. Akishev said.

According to him, within implementation of these measures four top Kazakh banks received  KZT 476 bln from the state in total. As he adds, all funds spent for maintaining financial sector will be returned in accordance with the expiration dates of the contracts as soon as the global crisis stops.
